Reconstructed building Budova B in BB Centrum wins HOF Award

The administrative building Budova B in Prague’s BB Centrum (Brumlovka) won in the 2021 HOF Awards (Hall of Fame – Best of the Best) in the category of Best of the Best Legacy Development as the best reconstructed building in Central and Southeast Europe. The complete renovation of the interior, the outer shell and the surroundings of Budova B was completed in the summer and the building is currently almost completely occupied. This November, Passerinvest Group will be opening FLEKSI, a new concept of coworking and flexible offices, here.

We truly appreciate the recognition of our reconstruction in the prestigious HOF Awards because it is proof that we are doing our jobs well. Within the complex, we want to offer prime office spaces, in which our tenants will have maximum comfort and which fulfil the latest standards of category A office spaces. The renovation of the buildings and constant investments into the Brumlovka complex are an integral part of our approach to the sustainable development of this locality and the creation of a quality environment for its users. In addition to the buildings themselves, we also place a heavy emphasis on added value in the form of a pleasant public space and abundant civic amenities,” stated Lenka Preslová, the Sales Director of Passerinvest Group, a.s., with regard to the award.

Budova B underwent complete reconstruction, including the modernisation of all interior technologies, new cladding in earthy tones and a large rooftop terrace with abundant greenery. The goal of the reconstruction was to create a quality working environment fulfilling all the demands on comfort and environmentally-friendly operations. The adjacent public space was also improved as part of the renovations. The building got a new open atrium with numerous places to sit, rich greenery and a water feature. It can also be used as an outdoor office and a relaxation area. Náměstí Ellen G. Whiteová was also built in front of the building, with mature trees and a water fountain.

The HOF Awards Best of the Best was founded in 2016 and recognises the projects of the year from the areas of offices, retail, residential and logistics properties, as well as companies operating on the real estate market, banks and project managers. The nominations include the annual winners of the CIJ Awards from the individual countries in the region of Central, Eastern and Southeast Europe. Passerinvest Group received this award in the past for the reconstruction of Building A in Prague – Brumlovka.

Since 1998, Passerinvest, as a responsible urban developer, has primarily been connected with Brumlovka (BB Centrum) in Prague 4, which is one of the most successful and extensive urban projects not only in the Czech Republic, but throughout all of Europe. Another important project in the company’s portfolio is Nové Roztyly, a brownfield of the former slaughterhouses of the Interlov complex where, in the future, a place with pleasant housing with a large park should arise, complemented by services for the general public and an office function. The principles of urban construction and the long-term sustainable development of Prague and the Czech Republic are part of Passerinvest Group’s vision. Thanks to its responsible approach, Passerinvest has built a very good reputation both on a domestic and on an international level. This is not only to the credit of the quality of the realised projects and the high level of the provided services, but also to the sense of fair play, a customer approach and also its responsibility to the society and the environment.
