New DiscGolf course in Interlov Complex in Roztyly
This spring, PASSERINVEST GROUP, the leading Czech development and Investment Company, cleaned out part of the land in the Interlov Complex wooded park in Prague’s Roztyly district and opened this private land to the public, thereby significantly making the local environment more attractive to visitors of the Michle Forest. This summer it had two baskets and four tee areas built at its own expense for the entertaining game of DiscGolf. The course for this modern sport, based on golf, is freely open to the public. The objective of the game is to throw a Frisbee into a special baskets or holes in the smallest number of throws. Visitors can find the placement of the baskets and the basic rules of the game on information boards. The design of the course, arrangement of the baskets and installation was provided by Ultimo.
PASSERINVEST GROUP landscaped part of the private land of the former slaughterhouse for the processing of wild game, not far from the C-line metro station Roztyly, creating a leisure and relaxation zone here with benches. There are now two DiscGolf baskets and four tee areas permanently installed in the wooded park. The total distance of the holes is 213 m and the PAR of the course (the number of throws that the player should make for the entire course) is 12. The course is designed to satisfy both beginners and experienced players. They can use various combinations of tee areas as well as the wide-open space above the course. The high trees, slant of the terrain, quite zone and well-kempt space – this all makes the course attractive and very interesting for the players. DiscGolf is not very demanding financially. All you need to play are the discs (Frisbees), which can be purchased in Internet shops or in sporting goods stores.
DiscGolf is a recreational sport that combines movement in fresh air with physical and mental activity. It is a way to remaining physically fit as well as a good way to relax. With DiscGolf you can spend the whole afternoon with your family and friends, or you can just throw a few baskets during you noon break or organise a large competition with teams on an almost professional level. DiscGolf is a game for everyone, regardless of age.
