Building FILADELFIE Gets Award in the TOP INVEST 2011 Competition

Building FILADELFIE, dominating the BB Centrum complex in Prague 4, has won the TOP INVEST 2011 Award. It has received this accolade from the Association of Building Entrepreneurs of the CR, the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the CR, the Ministry for Regional Development of the CR, and Veletrhy Brno company for the best investment plan in the Czech Republic in the year 2011.

The competition is open to projects which are remarkable for a good return on investment or social importance and the strengthening of the cultural, sporting or social position of the city or region. ”Building FILADELFIE has proved to match both the requirements. Aside from a pleasant working environment for almost 2,000 people, it serves a wide area as it provides space for meetings, shopping, and relaxation,” says Jaroslav Spozdil, Member of the Board, PASSERINVEST GROUP. ”With FILADELFIE, new green areas have been incorporated into the site in the form of Baar Park, with a unique water feature and a number of non-traditional attractions designed for entertainment and relaxation, along with an arcade, with shops and services, including a supermarket and a chemist’s. In view of this, FILADELFIE has become a real focal point for the given area in a relatively short time.” explains Jaroslav Spozdil.

The building is also remarkable for its shape as it has four wings – four towers as the symbols of the four cardinal directions. With its 17 above-ground storeys and strategic location in the northern part of the complex, it cannot be overlooked from, among other places, the very busy 5. května street. The building provides its tenants with 30,500 of grade-A office space, 4,500 square metres of retail space in the arcade, along with almost 1,000 parking spaces, whose certain proportion is also available to the public. A typical above-ground floor is spread over an area of 1,760 square metres. With regard to the impact of the building on the environment, FILADELFIE has achieved the BREEAM – in USE Green Building certification.

The anchor tenants of the building are the companies within UniCredit Group, while the remaining space has been leased out by the companies of PASSERINVEST GROUP, Fresenius Kabi and Pioneer Investments. Negotiations are currently underway with a prospective tenant on the lease of the only vacant space (half of the 16th floor area – 882 square metres).

Passerinvest Group (hereinafter Passerinvest) is a purely Czech builder and investor. The company was founded by Radim Passer back in 1991 and has since then acquired a lot of experience in the construction of office and commercial buildings, residential buildings and civic amenities.
Since 1998, Passerinvest, as a responsible urban developer, has primarily been connected with Brumlovka (BB Centrum) in Prague 4, which is one of the most successful and extensive urban projects not only in the Czech Republic, but throughout all of Europe. Another important project in the company’s portfolio is Nové Roztyly, a brownfield of the former slaughterhouses of the Interlov complex where, in the future, a place with pleasant housing with a large park should arise, complemented by services for the general public and an office function. The principles of urban construction and the long-term sustainable development of Prague and the Czech Republic are part of Passerinvest Group’s vision. Thanks to its responsible approach, Passerinvest has built a very good reputation both on a domestic and on an international level. This is not only to the credit of the quality of the realised projects and the high level of the provided services, but also to the sense of fair play, a customer approach and also its responsibility to the society and the environment.
