Brumlovka through the eyes of its tenants: A popular location for work, tenants appreciate the parks, quality of the environment and social life
Passerinvest Group (hereinafter Passerinvest), which is behind the development of the modern Prague district of Brumlovka, has obtained valuable data from a satisfaction survey that was carried out last year among selected tenants in the Brumlovka area. The survey, which aimed to acquire inspiration and ideas for the further development of the area, revealed that tenants appreciate most of all the excellent public spaces, the safety of the area and the wide choice of dining options. At the same time, they are very positive about the modern design of the entrance lobbies in each of the buildings and like to make use of the roof terraces.
Nineteen companies based in Brumlovka took part in the survey, which confirmed that among local companies a strong emphasis is placed on sustainability, environmental solutions and the sharing economy. Almost 85 % of the companies surveyed have an ESG strategy or are actively working on one. “The survey results confirm for us that our long-term strategy respecting the area, the quality of the indoor environment and tenant satisfaction is and will continue to be our priority,” said Kristýna Samková, Head of Marketing and PR at Passerinvest Group, a.s.
Public spaces, social events and restaurants are popular
The regular cultivation of the public space, where care is taken to conserve water, the extensive park areas with water features and ample places to relax in with a large proportion of greenery make the whole area a very popular place to spend one’s free time. Among the top-rated places are Brumlovka Square, Baar Park and Park Brumlovka, while cultural and social events, in particular the traditional June concert, travel and dance evenings, markets and food festivals also scored highly. Respondents are also very satisfied with the diverse choice and quality of food in the local restaurants, canteens and cafés.
Based on the results of the survey, for example, more bike rooms are being built in the underground of buildings and greater numbers of charging stations for electric vehicles are being installed. Based on suggestions, the choice of shops and services in the area has also been increased, with the addition of a nail studio and a barbershop and digital information boards have been installed at bus stops showing the arrival times of public transport lines. The research also showed that the most frequently used means of transport to Brumlovka is public transport and the local shuttle bus service in combination with walking by foot.
However, some of the wishes of tenants cannot be met even with our best efforts. This applies, for example, to the closed branch of the Czech Post, which used to be here. “But, to help tenants and of course the local residents too, we have focused on building a wide network of delivery boxes, which can be used for both the dispensing and convenient sending of parcels. Business correspondence can be handled by EDM, which provides professional postal services to Brumlovka’s tenants on favourable terms. Our aim is for the Brumlovka area to be an even more pleasant place for work and leisure time and we thank all the respondents for their valuable feedback and interesting suggestions,” added Kristýna Samková.
