A third year of voluntary reporting – Passerinvest publishes its Non-Financial Report for 2024

Passerinvest Group, a.s., the leading Czech developer and investor, has published its third Non-Financial Report, even though current legislation does not require it to do so. The document published on behalf of the consolidated Passerinvest Group, which operates in the Brumlovka and Nové Roztyly districts of Prague, provides a transparent comparison of key indicators across the years and confirms the long-term high occupancy rate of its building portfolio. The report also shows that the Group’s supply chain is predominantly domestic, with almost 100% of suppliers being from the Czech Republic.

“Non-financial reporting is a way for us to systematically communicate our sustainability activities and to openly share our results with our partners, clients and the public. Continuity and being able to compare results over time is important to us,” says Barbora Kovandová, ESG Specialist at Passerinvest Group.

Regarding the environment, Passerinvest last year began the process of meeting the requirements of the European taxonomy, which are helping the company to identify opportunities for further improvements. In addition to clarifying its carbon footprint, the company has made fundamental changes to the organisation of waste removal, which, thanks to a single supplier, will lead to a significant increase in the efficiency of waste management. It goes without saying that there is continuous development of blue-green infrastructure, and maintenance, cultivation and development of public parks, roof gardens and other green areas, creating a better quality and more pleasant place to live.

Caring for employees is no less important. The company focuses on their development and education, above-standard remuneration, which exceeds the industry average, and other benefits. As a result, long-term employee satisfaction exceeds 75 %. Passerinvest is also active in social life. In 2024 alone, it organised 275 public events for the residents and tenants of Brumlovka and Nové Roztyly in collaboration with the local communities. It also regularly holds guided tours for the general public in both locations.

Passerinvest also confirms that almost 100 % of its suppliers are from the Czech Republic. “We believe that collaboration with local partners contributes to the development of the local economy and business environment. In this way we not only support Czech suppliers, but at the same we reinforce the values that we want to bring to our projects – trust, responsibility and quality,” adds Barbora Kovandová.

Among other things, the report summarises the results that have been achieved and offers a comparison with previous years. The document shows that in the long term the occupancy of the Group’s buildings at Brumlovka remains at a very high level – currently 98 %. Based on regular research data, tenant satisfaction is also high, reaching 96 %. A stable portfolio is also proof of the quality of the management, as well as the attractiveness and long-term sustainability of the Brumlovka and Nové Roztyly districts of Prague, which is further demonstrated by the internationally recognised building certifications it has received (BREEAM, LEED). The Brumlovka location has also successfully passed the Fitwel certification, which assesses the health, well-being and lifestyle of tenants and residents in a particular location, and has been awarded the highest possible rating of three stars, the only location in the EU to do so.

The third edition of the Non-Financial Report thus confirms that sustainability is not a one-off project for Passerinvest, but a long-term commitment firmly anchored in its business strategy and corporate culture.

PASSERINVEST GROUP, a. s.

Passerinvest Group (hereinafter Passerinvest) is a purely Czech builder and investor. The company was founded by Radim Passer back in 1991 and has since then acquired a lot of experience in the construction of office and commercial buildings, residential buildings and civic amenities.
Since 1998, Passerinvest, as a responsible urban developer, has primarily been connected with Brumlovka (BB Centrum) in Prague 4, which is one of the most successful and extensive urban projects not only in the Czech Republic, but throughout all of Europe. Another important project in the company’s portfolio is Nové Roztyly, a brownfield of the former slaughterhouses of the Interlov complex where, in the future, a place with pleasant housing with a large park should arise, complemented by services for the general public and an office function. The principles of urban construction and the long-term sustainable development of Prague and the Czech Republic are part of Passerinvest Group’s vision. Thanks to its responsible approach, Passerinvest has built a very good reputation both on a domestic and on an international level. This is not only to the credit of the quality of the realised projects and the high level of the provided services, but also to the sense of fair play, a customer approach and also its responsibility to the society and the environment.
