Baar Park – New Greenery at BB Centrum

Baar Park, a long-planned and long-announced integral part of BB Centrum in Prague 4, opens to the public on 7 July! Developed by PASSERINVEST GROUP, a. s., it has been under construction to the east of Building FILADELFIE since this spring.
The park will add another new dimension to BB Centrum, being a great asset to people who work there as well as those living in the vicinity of Prague 4. Not only does Baar Park offer a “green component”, which is an inseparable part of modern complexes, and BB Centrum is undisputedly one of them: it also offers a great number of active leisure attractions spread over an area of almost one hectare, including a large relaxation zone with benches inviting you to sit in a pleasant green environment.
“Greenery is presently a common part of modern multipurpose projects, and BB Centrum is undisputedly one of them. The park is a leisure-time project in its wide sense of meaning – its active attractions for all age groups have been chosen with an emphasis on safety as well as originality and overall appearance. Accordingly, they fit perfectly into the modern design of the complex and, moreover, they will certainly attract new groups of visitors from near and far,” says Radim Passer, Chairman of the Board, PASSERINVEST GROUP, a. s.
On completion, you will be able to play pétanque on a single track of the pedestrian precinct, swing on a rotating seesaw, or, together with your friends, simulate a simple conference, thanks to an underground system of tubes which will transfer sound for up to 50 metres.
The park opens to the public this July. Created at a cost of CZK 32 million, it has a variety of over 180 trees, 800 bushes and 160 perennials which were planted during the development phase.
Baar Park has been under development since this spring when finishing work on Building FILADELFIE also began. At present, negotiations are underway with prospective tenants of the office space. As a new shopping arcade will open on the ground floor of the building this September, the wide range of shops and services will be further extended in that part of BB Centrum. By way of illustration, you will find there: Albert market, dm chemist, Netindrustry dry cleaner and laundry, EXPRESS SENDWICH fast food, jeweller Jitka Kudláčková, Čáp kitchen studio, TOMBOLINI men’s fashion, Mango Chinese restaurant, along with a café and other shops.
This July will also see the beginning of construction of another project, Residential Park Baarova, planned by PASSERINVEST GROUP, a. s., in proximity to Baar Park. Developed under the motto of “Style, Comfort, Safety”, the project is slated for completion next year in winter.
