The Czech-English preschool GENIUS Kindergarten is opening another branch at Brumlovka.

In September, Brumlovka will welcome a new tenant in the Olivka building, where the popular private Czech-English preschool GENIUS Kindergarten will be opening. This will be the third branch of the accredited GENIUS kindergartens with a capacity for 30 children, which also operates its own elementary school in Prague – Krč near Brumlovka. The kindergarten will offer the unique GENIUS Mind educational program, which takes place in a bilingual format in the Czech and English languages. The aim of the program is to develop children with respect to their personality, strengths and weaknesses, and in particular in accordance with their needs. Enrolment for the 2022/2023 school year for children from the age of two is already underway. The kindergarten has found its place in the newly completed multifunctional Olivka building by Brumlovka Park, which will expand the services for children in the locality. In addition to the kindergarten, there will also be a unique model railway set in a Swiss landscape. The owner and manager of the Olivka Building is the Passerinvest Concern.

“Our goal is to strengthen the children’s self-confidence, creativity, playfulness and to lead them to mutual tolerance. A natural environment for games and self-development is important for children, and therefore we take the choice of new spaces very seriously. Brumlovka was the ideal choice for opening the third branch of the kindergarten not only in terms of the modern and pleasant spaces of Olivka, but also in terms of the maintained green Brumlovka Park, where the preschool is located. In the adjacent park we can also use a very nice playground with lots of game elements, which the children will definitely appreciate,”  said Michal Zuza, the Director of GENIUS Kindergarten.

The Czech-English GENIUS Kindergarten was founded in 2010 with a clear intention – to create stable facilities with an individualistic approach to each child according to his talents and uniqueness.  The name GENIUS was chosen to link with the philosophy of the nursery, which is: “Children are born as brilliant creative beings with a certain potential. It is necessary to uncover this potential and to develop it further,” The leadership of the kindergarten has, together with experts in the field, developed a unique educational concept GENIUS MIND, which takes place in a bilingual format in the Czech and English languages with the involvement of native speakers. This educational method is the cornerstone of the GENIUS Kindergarten schools. First, the potential of the child is identified on the basis of a diagnostic system, and the kindergarten continues to develop it naturally through the program using, for example, NTC learning and Mindfulness methods.
