Roztyly Plaza awarded an Excellent rating in BREEAM In-Use certification
In April, the Roztyly Plaza office building was awarded an Excellent rating in the internationally recognised BREEAM In-Use sustainability certification, which evaluates buildings based on how they actually operate. The achieved score of 73.6 % thus not only confirms the high quality of the design, but in particular the exceptionally effective and sustainable way in which the building operates day to day, making it one of the top modern office projects.
The building achieved strong results across all the assessed categories, but it received its highest scores in the following categories:
Resilience – 100 %
This category assesses the building’s ability to withstand long-term climate change and extreme events, such as weather fluctuations, floods and heatwaves. It also covers the structural resilience of the building and its readiness for future operation. The full rating achieved confirms the building’s high climate resilience and stable operation, giving tenants the assurance that it is a reliable facility.
Resources – 87.5 %
The evaluation focuses on the use of materials in the construction and actual operation of the building, including the proportion of recycled or certified resources and waste minimisation. The result confirms our responsible approach and outstanding level of sustainability.
Water – 73.6 %
This category monitors water use efficiency, water-saving technical solutions and consumption. The goal is to have the lowest possible water consumption compared to normal standards. Roztyly Plaza achieves above-average results in water conservation and effective water use.
Transport – 72.7 %
This category assesses the building’s accessibility by public transport, support for cycling and the options for alternative forms of transport. One major advantage is the building’s location right by Roztyly station on metro line C and the bus terminal, providing quick connections to the centre of Prague and easy access to the D1 motorway. The high score confirms the excellent transport accessibility and the support for sustainable mobility for tenants.
The certification confirms that Roztyly Plaza, situated right next to Krč Forest, meets high standards of sustainability, operational efficiency and quality facilities for its users.
