MULTI DEVELOPMENT AND PASSERINVEST GROUP PRESENT THE NOVÁ KAROLINA PARK PROJECT

The development companies have presented the first joint office project. Known as Nová Karolina Park, it will offer 25,000 square metres of prime office space spread over six above-ground floors. Located in the north-eastern part of the newly urbanised area of Nová Karolina, the office building forms an imaginary entrance gate from the historic core of the city.

“We have decided for cooperation with developer PASSERINVEST GROUP because of their good name in the field of construction of office buildings of the third millennium. We sought for a reliable and strong partner, and everything spoke for PASSERINVEST GROUP. Our decision was also based on the fact that the company had received glowing recommendation for their key project, BB Centrum,” says Luboš Kočí, Managing Director of Multi Development in his comment on the cooperation.

The Nová Karolina Park is the first project to be developed by PASSERINVEST GROUP outside Prague, the project which is moreover located in the City of Ostrava, in the very promising region. The project for Nová Karolina Park aims to create a monolithic building with an inner walk-through courtyard and two gates, designed in harmony with the existing adjoining buildings. The attributes of the building, namely its height, morphology and the overall appearance of the façade have been meticulously chosen, so that a creative approach to the design of particular walls of the building can be adopted and external conditions can be naturally taken into account.

The building will offer attractive office space with flexible options to separate the flooring area, as well as underground parking facilities for almost 280 cars. The ground floor will provide 4,000 square metres of retail area. This ground floor retail area can also serve as client centres.

The Nová Karolina Park project is designed by Vít Máslo and David R. Chisholm, CMC architects. The general contractor is PSJ company; construction began on 6 October 2008, and is scheduled for completion in the first half of 2010.
