MAJOR COMPANIES FOUGHT TO WIN THE BBC CUP
The sixth year of the traditional indoor football tournament took place under the typical name of BBC CUP in Děkanka sports hall in Prague – Pankrác on Friday 19 May 2006. The teams were formed by the tenants of the BB Centrum office park such as ČEZ, EC Harris, EDS, Huawei, Logos, Microsoft, OK and, of course, the organizer of the competition, Passerinvest Group.
After an all day fight, Passerinvest defended their last year’s victory, retaining the challenge cup in 2006. Logos came second as they were denied victory in a penalty shootout. The bronze goes to ČEZ. The best scorer title was given to Holeček from Microsoft.
“The BBC Cup provides the BBC tenants with a rare opportunity to meet in an extremely informal way and spend some time in a friendly atmosphere. We hope that the popularity of the BBC CUP will grow further,” said Passerinvest Group team captain Radim Passer at the end of the tournament.
