Nová Karolina Park announces new tenants

Nová Karolina Park in Ostrava has leased a further 519 m2 of retail space. The new tenants are the Czech mining company MND, the CREDITAS credit union and also a Parfums.cz perfume and cosmetics distribution point and a Country Life shop with organic and health food.

Nová Karolina Park, an architecturally unique office building, also offers retail space in an attractive locality of a newly urbanised territory of Ostrava. Thanks to this beneficial and strategic location it is a popular place for companies that want to be in the centre of the action in Ostrava.

Moravské naftové doly a.s. has set up its third client centre in the country on 64 m2 in the southwest section facing the Forum Nová Karolina shopping centre. It is also the first franchise branch operated in cooperation with EFSETE s.r.o. At the Ostrava branch customers can have a non-binding calculation made of the savings on energy with MND and, if interested, they can directly conclude a contract for the supply of natural gas or electricity. “We chose the spaces of Nová Karolina Park for a simple reason: the entire Nová Karolina area is slowly but surely becoming the centre of the action in Ostrava, including for cultural events. It is becoming a place people get together and MND wants to be a part of this and to be closer to people. At the same time we want to be good neighbours for the other tenants of NKP, who make it a professional address,” stated Martin Benko, the Project Manager of EFSETE s.r.o. The Client Centre will be open every business day from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.

The CREDITAS credit union will soon be opening its second client branch in Ostrava in the Nová Karolina Park building. Thanks to this it will be close to its potential and current customers, advising them with the personal and corporate finances. The client centre will be open from Monday to Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. “Nová Karolina Park has excellent parameters in terms of the quality of the space, which is important for our concept of modern though friendly branches. For customers the position in the city centre, accessibility and parking are advantages. Many of them will probably also use the services of the nearby shopping centre,” stated Kamil Rataj, the Vice-Chairman of the Board of Directors of the CREDITAS credit union. “Plus the coverage of Ostrava and its surroundings is an excellent complement to our existing branch in the Poruba neighbourhood,” added Kamil Rataj.

Parfums.cz, one of the largest e-shops with perfume and cosmetics in the Czech Republic will be opening its very first distribution point in Ostrava in NKP. Customers will be able to pick up their orders from the e-shop Parfums.cz on 230 m2 in the southwest passage to the building’s inner courtyard or they can try out new cosmetics or fragrances, which they will be able to purchase on the spot.  “We were primarily trying to find a representative space that the inhabitants of Ostrava know well, so that any navigation to find us would be as easy as possible. At the same time Nová Karolina Park accommodated our space requirements. This combination was the most important factor for our decision,” commented Radek Ondrášík, the Marketing Director of Parfums.cz.

The first Country Life shop outside of Prague will be opening in November in the tip of the southern part of the Nová Karolina Park building, on Na Karolíně Street. In the shop with an area of 126 m2 customers will find a wide assortment of health food, organic food, products from its own organic bakery, natural and organic cosmetics and environmentally-friendly cleaning products. “It is our first branch in Ostrava as well as our first branch outside of Prague. We also saw Ostrava as a challenge with regard to the character of the building, which is new and has glass on three sides. It is completely different from our existing shops, located in old or even historic buildings in Prague,” explained Otakar Jiránek, the Director of Country Life.
