On Monday, June 17, 2013, the winners of the 7th Annual Moravian-Silesian Regional Construction awards were announced in a ceremony at the Jan\u00e1\u010dek Conservatory in Ostrava. The top prize in the category \u201cCivic Facilities \u2013 New\u201d was awarded to the Nov\u00e1 Karolina Park project in Ostrava, developed by PASSERINVEST GROUP, a.s. The competition is organized by the Association of Building Entrepreneurs, the Czech Chamber of Authorized Engineers, the Architectural Society and the Moravian-Silesian Region.

GEMO Olomouc, spol. s r.o, general contractor of Nov\u00e1 Karolina Park, received the grand prize in the category \u201cCivic Facilities \u2013 New\u201d for the symbolic architectural expression of the building which frames the entrance to the complex of buildings.

The Nov\u00e1 Karolina Park administrative building is part of a larger project in the city center called Nov\u00e1 Karolina, forming a gateway to this area. Nov\u00e1 Karolina Park offers nearly 24,765 m2 of prime office space on six floors. The office space is complemented by 3,792 m2 of ground floor space intended for shops, services and restaurants. The subterranean level features 280 parking spaces for building users. <\/p>\n

“Recognition of the Nov\u00e1 Karolina Park project gives us great pleasure and we genuinely believe that it deserves it. Along with the other buildings, this project has contributed to the unique – I would even say historic – transformation of the center of Ostrava into a unique multifunctional center,” said Radim Passer, CEO of the developer PASSERINVEST GROUP.

Nov\u00e1 Karolina Park, which was completed at the end of last year, has received its BREEAM certification, a prestigious British methodology for certification of green buildings. It was designed by V\u00edt Butter and David R. Chisholm of the renowned studio CMC Architects.

Since October of last year, those who are interested in leasing space in the Nov\u00e1 Karolina Park building have had the opportunity to visit a fully furnished showroom measuring 64 m2. This showroom offers interested parties a better idea how their office might look. The showroom was prepared by the Nov\u00e1 Karolina Park project developer, PASSERINVEST GROUP, in cooperation with Techo.

THE KAROLINA PARK PROJECT<\/strong>
Nov\u00e1 Karolina Park is part of a larger project, Nov\u00e1 Karolina, located nearly in the center of Ostrava, close to Masaryk Square. Here, on 32 hectares of land, new modern offices as well as apartments and a shopping and entertainment center are being gradually constructed in four phases. The Nov\u00e1 Karolina project was carried out with the involvement of three major investors – PASSERINVEST GROUP, Multi Development Czech Republic and GEMO Olomouc.

The developer of the Nov\u00e1 Karolina Park office building is PASSERINVEST GROUP, a.s., an all-Czech company. Its name is associated in particular with the large administrative complex BB Centrum in Prague 4 \u2013 Michle, which currently consists of 15 fully completed buildings with a total area of nearly 200,000 m2. BB Centrum includes Balance Club Brumlovka, a modern exclusive fitness and wellness center, as well as a community center with a Christian kindergarten, elementary school and a park spread over an area of about 1 hectare. In April of last year, another unique PASSERINVEST GROUP project was completed in the neighborhood of BB Centrum – Residential Park Baarov\u00e1\u00a0 – with 139 housing units available for sale and rent.
