New Karolina Park now offers cafeteria-style dining to both its tenants and the public. <\/strong>As of <\/strong>Monday, March 30,<\/strong> <\/strong>2015, visitors can enjoy breakfast, lunch or a snack in the Nov\u00e1 Karolina Park Restaurant in the city centre, which will be open from Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/sup><\/strong><\/p>\n

The Nov\u00e1 Karolina Park<\/strong><\/a> Building, which is currently home to eleven companies employing over a thousand people, has not only office space for rent, but also commercial units on the ground floor. And it’s here that the new self-service cafeteria, operated by GTH Catering, opened in a 631 m2<\/sup> space, seating 160 people. The cafeteria complements the exciting retail establishments on the ground floor of this modern six-storey building – including a pharmacy, florist shop and a watch shop. Several banks have also opened branches here, including \u010cesk\u00e1 spo\u0159itelna, Raiffeisenbank, and UniCredit Bank.<\/p>\n

Breakfast is served at the Nov\u00e1 Karolina Park Restaurant<\/strong><\/a> in the form of a hot and cold buffet. At lunchtime, from 11:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., customers can choose from two types of soup, three main dishes, two ready-to-eat options, as well as vegetarian dishes. In addition to the daily menu, the restaurant features a hot meat and vegetarian counter with a choice of side dishes. For lovers of a healthy diet, the restaurant has a salad bar with fresh vegetables for creating custom salads. The varied menu will be complemented by fresh baguettes baked in-house, desserts, fruit, hot and cold drinks, as well as the sale of bread, bottled beverages, biscuits, confectionary, dairy products and other delicacies. The current daily menu of the restaurant will be published on the web at www.gth.cz\/nkp. For added convenience, customers can leave their bags and coats in lockers at the restaurant entrance.<\/p>\n

Nov\u00e1 Karolina Park was built on a site that has genius loci<\/i> plus all civic amenities and parking availability. Its attractiveness is enhanced by its position on the main Ostrava thoroughfare 28. \u0158\u00edjna Street, by the tram stop at the northern reception of the object, as well as by the atrium to Forum Nov\u00e1 Karolina shopping centre. The building\u2019s atrium, where the restaurant entrance is located, is enhanced by the gas vents from the former mining works that have been transformed into site-specific works of art. Over 4,000 people per day take advantage of this space, with fountains, benches and greenery, for a lunch break, to meet friends for coffee after a busy day, for an informal meeting with a business partner outside the office, or just to sit and read on a bench.<\/p>\n

The Nov\u00e1 Karolina Park project<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Nov\u00e1 Karolina Park<\/strong> office building is sensitively placed in the newly urbanized area of Ostrava near Masaryk Square and forms a gateway from the historic core of the city. The project developer is a joint venture between PASSERINVEST GROUP<\/a>, GEMO Olomouc, and Multi Development Czech Republic. The building was designed by V\u00edt M\u00e1slo and David R. Chisholm of CMC Architects. The six-storey complex sits on 32 hectares of land and offers almost 24,600 square meters of prime office space, complemented by 3,700 square meters of ground floor premises suitable for retail, services, and restaurants. Underground floors provide 279 parking spaces for building users. Nov\u00e1 Karolina Park is certified as a green building according to BREEAM (BRE Environmental Assessment Method). The British BREEAM certificate is one of the leading assessment methods for green buildings in Europe.<\/p>\n
