The building Budova B, with a\u00a0total leasable space of 15,600 m2 of offices and 250 underground parking spots, will be getting a\u00a0new modern fa\u00e7ade, grand reception, restaurants, a\u00a0brand new garden for the public in an open atrium and a\u00a0relaxational green rooftop through reconstruction. All the technology ensuring a\u00a0quality internal environment will be modernised. The main entrance will be moved from Vysko\u010dilova Street to the western side of the building, where a\u00a0small square, or piazzetta, will be created with mature trees, seats and a\u00a0water feature. The investment into the reconstruction is estimated at CZK 40 million and it is slated for completion in Q1\/2020. The investor and owner of the building is PASSERIVEST GROUP, a.s., which is constantly developing the BB Centrum complex and modernising the existing buildings in order to constantly offer first-class services. The author of the design for the revitalisation is the A8000 architecture atelier.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The office building\u00a0 Budova B is located in the central part of the multifunctional BB Centrum complex, on the main thoroughfare, Vysko\u010dilova Street. After the sole tenant, MONETA Money Bank, moved to the reconstructed building Budova A\u00a0next door, the building is ready for overall renovations. The new outdoor garden in the atrium, whose layout copies the three walls of the building in the shape of the letter U, is a\u00a0significant change. The fourth side of the atrium will remain open in the direction of the space between buildings Budova A\u00a0and Budova B. There will be a\u00a0direct entrance from the atrium and from Vysko\u010dilova Street to the new food zone, where there are plans for three separate restaurants open to the tenants and the public.<\/p>\n

The reconstruction will also include the renovation of the rooftop terrace. It will serve the employees of the future tenants, who will be able to work, relax, practice yoga and hold company celebrations here. Part of the ground floor will be occupied by doctor’s offices from the company Sant\u00e9.<\/p>\n

The building Budova B will be getting a\u00a0new ceramic fa\u00e7ade in earthy light and medium brown tones that, together with the contemporary modern design, will also fulfil the current demands on thermal transmittance. After the renovation of the building envelope and technologies, the building will fulfil the standards of energy label category B, which guarantees energy-efficient and effective operations.<\/p>\n

“Budova B was the second to be built in BB Centrum and has been in continuous operations for almost 20 years. Over this period of two decades, we can also compare the complexity of the approval processes, and we have to say that they have worsened dramatically. Six months was originally enough to get a\u00a0building permit, while today it is several times more. And the prospects for improvement are not all that positive,”<\/em>stated Radim Passer, the founder and CEO of Passerinvest Group, a.s..<\/p>\n
