Mnoho pam\u011btn\u00edk\u016f a obyvatel Prahy 4 m\u00e1 tuto lokalitu spojenou s n\u00e1zvem Brumlovka. Zaj\u00edmav\u00e9 je, \u017ee zde v minulosti vlastn\u011b krom\u011b sportovn\u00ed haly (nesouc\u00ed tento n\u00e1zev), \u0161kv\u00e1rov\u00e9ho h\u0159i\u0161t\u011b a dal\u0161\u00edch p\u0159ev\u00e1\u017en\u011b zanedban\u00fdch \u00fazem\u00ed nic nebylo. Historie BB Centra se za\u010dala ps\u00e1t na konci roku 1992, kdy zv\u00edt\u011bzila urbanistick\u00e1 studie na prom\u011bnu a vyu\u017eit\u00ed tohoto \u00fazem\u00ed dle architekt\u016f ze studia Aul\u00edk Fi\u0161er
architekti. Z nevyu\u017eit\u00e9ho, nebezpe\u010dn\u00e9ho a p\u0159edev\u0161\u00edm neprostupn\u00e9ho brownfieldu b\u011bhem v\u00edce jak 20 let spole\u010dnost Passerinvest Group vybudovala plnohodnotnou m\u011bstskou \u010dtvr\u0165.
